After sometime of courting and growth in their spiritual lives Joe and Christy
sensed the Lord leading him to get more Biblical Higher education.

On that particular day; Joe drove on the Campus of Clearwater Christian but he didn’t sense that it was the right place. They had heard of Trinity College. He continued to chase his calling with a drive on to the campus of Trinity College. That very day He sensed God’s “this is the place” and enrolled.

Three years after his 1997 graduation from Trinity College. Joe became pastor of Hillside Community Baptist Church of Brooksville Fl. He has served there as lead pastor of 24 years.

After 24 years Pastor Joe has proved that the way to grow a church is through a children’s ministry that helps them feel at home. Joe says; “Kid’s need dads
today”. Pastor Joseph Santerelli has been a pastor and a dad to many needing our Heavenly Father’s guidance and love.

Meet the Alumni President

Sam and Bonnie Thomas

Trinity College of Florida Alumni president Rev. Sam Thomas met his wife Bonnie (a missionary kid) during their freshman year at Trinity College. They were married after their sophomore year of college and determined a career in missions would be their pursuit after graduation. Sam along with a short-term summer missionary drove their 1977 Ford pickup truck for one month from France traversing the Sahara desert! They ventured through Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Niger, Nigeria, and Cameroun eventually making it to Zemio, in the eastern Central African Republic. Sam and Bonnie’s career as missionaries spanned 43 years sharing the gospel and training African leaders in C.A.R., Dem. Rep. Congo, and Kenya. Today, Sam serves as the active President of the Trinity College of Florida Alumni Association.
