There are various resources available to students, and we are dedicated to helping you maximize your financial aid package! From beginning your FAFSA for the first time to exit counseling upon graduation, we are committed to helping you through the financial aid process.
There are two financial aid applications to complete. One is for federal and state aid and the other is for institutional aid.
STEP 1: Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) FAFSA
The Trinity College Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate high academic achievement. This scholarship will be awarded after all final grades and scores have been received. The Trinity College Academic Merit Scholarship will be awarded to students who meet all minimum qualifications for acceptance and who have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or a standardized test score of 21 (ACT) or 1100 (SAT). Scholarships range from $500 to $2,000 per year.
This scholarship is renewable each year that the student remains in full-time status and maintains a GPA of 3.0 or above at the college. The cumulative GPA will be evaluated on a yearly basis. If the scholarship is lost, it cannot be regained.

$1,000 - GPA 3.50 - 4.00
$500 - ACT 21 - 25 or SAT 1100 - 1270
$1,000 - ACT 26 - 36 or SAT 1280 - 1600
TRINITY COLLEGE GRANT
The TC Grant is given to students based on a minimum GPA if 2.24 and the EFC.
Up to $1,900 per year
LIFE CHANGE SCHOLARSHIP
The Life Change Scholarship is given to students in varying amounts dependent upon many factors such as GPA, test scores, overall application, remaining need, etc.
Students of full-time missionaries are eligible for the Ministry Grant.
$2,000 for one year
CHRISTIAN WORKERS GRANT
A dependent student whose parent is a full-time pastor is eligible for the Christian Workers Grant.
An independent student in full-time pastoral ministry for 12 months prior to attending TCF is eligible for the Christian Workers Grant.
$600 per year
WORD OF LIFE SCHOLARSHIP
Word of Life Bible Institute graduates receive a $4,000 or $2,000 scholarship. Students who live on campus and who have a 3.0 GPA or above will receive $4,000. Students who have below a 3.0 or do not live on campus will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
COMMUNITY PARTNER SCHOLARSHIP
All current staff and missionaries of our Community Partners are eligible for the Community Partner Scholarship. Spouses and dependent children of current staff and missionaries are also eligible.
SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
Approximately 50% discount for senior citizens ages 65+
Dual enrolled students receive a 50% tuition discount that is credited back to their account when they become a full-time degree-seeking student.
Award amount is determined by the student's academic grade level and dependency status. Freshman dependent students are eligible for a $3,500 subsidized loan and a $2,000 unsubsidized loan. Maximum loan amounts go up as students complete each grade level.
PARENT PLUS LOAN
Parents of dependent students can apply for the Parent Plus Loan. If the parent is denied, the student automatically receives an additional $4,000 unsubsidized loan.
INTEREST-FREE MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN ADMINISTERED BY TUITION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
This convenient option reduces the need to borrow and gives students and families more control over their savings. The payment plan allows you to spread your Continuing Education charges over 4 interest-free monthly payments for only the cost of a $25 enrollment fee. Enrollment benefits are:
- The ability to spread payments out over multiple months, without interest - Free education payment advice to help you minimize borrowing - Unlimited adjustments to your payment plan budget to ensure the total of what you are paying each month equals the balance owed per semester
- Students need to register for classes with the Registration Office prior to enrolling in the payment plan. - Students must register for the payment plan within (2) business days of registering for the class. Please visit Tuition Management Systems website at trinitycollege.afford.com or contact their Call Center at 1-800-722-4867with questions or to enroll.
Students applying for federal or state aid must complete the FAFSA. Make sure to add the Trinity College code 030282 so we can receive your FAFSA in a timely manner. Once your FAFSA is complete, we can determine your eligibility. (Additional documentation or verification may be necessary.)
