Trevor Holloway, Ph.D. serves as the Vice President for Student Development and a professor
of global missions. Before coming to Trinity College he was a missionary in Peru where he
founded a Bible institute which focuses on providing theological education to pastors and
leaders who have little to no access to such training. He returned to the United States after
training up a group of Peruvian men to provide 100% of the leadership and teaching in the Bible
institute. Dr. Holloway has also been a pastor in Illinois and Kansas City as well as served in
leadership roles in multiple missions agencies. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Theology from
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Holloway is also a member of the Evangelical
Theological Society and the Evangelical Missiological Society.
He and his wife, Betsy, have five children. They enjoy hiking, reading good books, going to the
beach, and cheering on their favorite football teams.
He earned his B.A., at Northern Illinois University, then his M.A., at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and then earned a Th.M., at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has completed his Ph.D., at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary *2024.
