Shannon L. Hogan studied at Regent University and Lee University. During his years in the corporate world, his certifications included 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Whale Done, Situational Leadership, Situational Service, ASSE, and Achieve Global, and Who Moved My Cheese. He began his academic career as a Visiting Lecturer at the Agape Bible College in Accra, Ghana. He served as Asst. Professor in Business Administration at Emmanuel College where he taught courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, E-Commerce, Business Management, International Business, Personal Finance, Business Ethics, and Human Resource Management. He currently Chairs the Department of Business and Leadership at Trinity College of Florida where he teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, HRM, Managerial Leadership, Business Marketing, Biblical Ethics and other business and leadership related courses. 

He is a former missionary to Ghana, West Africa, a church planter, and a world traveler. He is the 2014 recipient of the Confessore award for best dissertation and a Beta Phi Scholar. He is a member of the Society of Christian Ethics. His scholarly interests are Leadership and Autonomous Learning, which provided him the opportunity to present a paper at the 2013 Autonomous Learning World Caucus in Oxford, England. 

His most prized possessions and passion is his family. He has 6 wonderful children and a beautiful wife of 18 years. He loves playing ping pong and relaxing with the students.
