My name is Dr. Trevor Holloway, and I serve as the Vice President for Student Development. My desire and focus in my role is on creating a vibrant student life outside the classroom here at Trinity. My role involves overseeing student groups, helping to cultivate a sense of community on campus, and managing dorm life. I also promote campus events and oversee chapel services and small groups, blending the spiritual and social aspects of student life at the Bible college.
What I find most rewarding is seeing students grow spiritually—whether it’s through chapel, small groups, or even their academic classes. I love getting the chance to engage with students in these settings and talk with them about their experiences. It’s especially rewarding to see students who may be struggling, but watch them grow through those challenges. That’s why I spend so much time in both the downstairs office and the upstairs office—I want to be available and interact with students as much as possible.
When it comes to support for our school, the most impactful thing someone could do is help us get a student center and gymnasium. This would provide much-needed space for athletic events, as well as a place for students to build community, hang out, and study together. On a more personal level, connecting us with Christian service opportunities would be valuable. Additionally, helping us connect with potential donors or businesses that can enrich our students’ college experience would make a huge difference.
