The C.S. Lewis Society's 30th Anniversary Celebration Banquet
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the apologetics campus ministry, the C. S. Lewis Society, led by Dr. Tom Woodward, esteemed professor at Trinity College of Florida. For thirty years, the C. S. Lewis Society has presented the case for the Christian faith to students, skeptics and scholars. We highlight the many reasons and lines of evidence that undergird biblical Christianity. Launched originally on the campus of Princeton University, it has been based in Tampa Bay on the campus of Trinity College of Florida since 1988, and has held lectures and debates in dozens of universities across the US and in 38 foreign countries.
About our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Al Mohler
Dr. Albert Mohler serves as president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary – the flagship school of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has been recognized by Time and Christianity Today as a leader among American evangelicals. In fact, Time.com called him the “reigning intellectual of the evangelical movement in the U.S.” In addition to his presidential duties, Dr. Mohler hosts two programs: “The Briefing,” a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview; and “Thinking in Public,” a series of conversations with the day’s leading thinkers.
