Church Ministries - Pastoral Emphasis

The Church Ministries major provides the student with the academic preparation necessary for ministry along with professional preparation in a particular area of ministry concentration. Within the Church Ministries major students select a concentration in Pastoral Ministry, Worship Ministry, or Youth Ministry.

The Pastoral Ministry concentration provides the student with academic preparation necessary for ministry along with professional preparation in the areas of homiletics, interpersonal relationships, pastoral and evangelistic functions, leadership, and church administration.

Students successfully completing this program will demonstrate:

1. Professional skills in preaching,
2. Professional skills in pastoral relationships and leadership, and
3. Spiritual depth and maturity.
